How to add the new post to Instagram Stories
Click to the ‘+’ at the top of your feed.
It will show you the recording screen. From there you can take a picture or create a video by tapping on and holding the white circle.
For filming the video you have only 10 seconds. When you are done, you can add it to your story or retake it.
Next, you can write or draw something on the story with the three pen type options.
These playful tools are the perfect way to connect to younger demographics on Instagram. Have fun drawing with the variety of colors and instruments.
If you want to use more colors for drawing, simply tap on one of the pen colors and hold. Then, at the bottom, it opens a gradient palette, so you can choose any color you want.
Tap on the ‘Aa’ symbol to switch to the mode for typing the text.
All your art will stay with the post.
Once you tap ‘Add it to your story’, your post goes online.
When you or other users have the new post in Instagram Stories, their avatar gets the colorful ring around it. If there is nothing new, there will be the white ring.
How can I upload the picture or video from my camera roll to Instagram Stories
For that, swipe down when you open Instagram Stories recording screen. Then as on Instagram, you have your latest images and videos. You can upload to Stories content captured only within 24 hours.
How to check who saw my Instagram Stories post
Open your post, swipe it up, and you will see a list of everyone who watched it.

If you don’t want someone to see your Instagram Stories, tap ‘X’ near the name. Then that person won’t be able to view any Stories from you.

How to reply to Instagram Stories
You can reply to the stories by sending the messages. The one thing is that won’t go as a comment. Instead, the person will get it as a direct message.
How to save Instagram Stories or publish to the regular feed
To keep your Instagram Stories on your main feed, open your story. At the bottom go to the menu and you will have several options such as ‘Save Video’ or ‘Share as Post…’ Then it will be published as the regular Instagram post.
How can I change privacy of the post
Go to the ‘Story Settings’ tab. The option ‘Hide Story From’ allows you to choose individual people who you don’t want to watch your posts.
People who you set there won’t see any Instagram Stories from you anymore.
In the same menu, you can also choose who can send you messages as a reply to your stories.
Also, you can watch Instagram Stories of any users who account set on public.
It is even not necessary to follow the person. Just go to them profile and double tap on their avatar.

There is no regular Instagram filter panel, but still, it includes six filters. When you captured your photo or video swipe across and every time you will get the new look.
